Der Nebel der Zeit - Escape Room
A pawnshop asks for your help... Artifacts are needed for an important auction, but the archaeologist is nowhere to be found! Can you find the artifacts and the whereabouts of the archaeologist? Try to get out of the basement room into the astral plane and defy the Romans!
Treasuring artifacts quickly becomes a mind-blowing adventure and a battle for the favor of Loki and Odin. The challenging puzzles involve performing shamanic rituals, making offerings, and activating ancient magical artifacts!
The Mists of Time is an escape room that has become very popular at Alfsee near Germanenland. Up to eight people can play this room at the same time. I can’t give too much away here, but the puzzles are challenging and fun. The rooms were designed with a lot of love. The set design is kept realistic, photos, artifacts and anecdotes tell you about the life and discoveries of the archaeologist. The look of the Germanic era impresses with its rustic charm of wooden elements, statues of gods and Germanic runes supported by cool lighting effects and fog machines.
Lukas Fritsch worked on this project, supervised and supported by Sebastian Frenzel.
My duties were as follows:
- Creation of the basic and detailed concept, which includes the design of the story and the gameplay.
- Puzzel-Design and testing.
- Creating presentations for communication with the customer.
- Writing game and reset guides.
- Writing material lists and graphics briefings for communication with external service providers.
- Support and supervision of construction work.
